Choose your finish. Every board features a realistic woodgrain texture, but each range offers a different look. Core delivers a deeper woodgrain effect, Rustic recreates the character of naturally weathered timber, while Supreme offers a sleek, contemporary matte finish.
Capped or uncapped? Premium and Supreme boards feature a protective polymer cap for enhanced resistance against stains, scratches and fading. Core and Rustic are uncapped, making them a more affordable choice while still offering far greater weather resistance than traditional timber.

How much do 3.6m composite decking boards cost?
Our 3.6m boards start from £19.00 per board for Core and rise to £38.40 for Supreme, depending on warranty, finish and capping. Order free samples to compare before you buy.
Can 3.6m composite decking boards be cut down?
Yes. Composite cuts cleanly with a circular saw, so you can trim boards to fit your layout. Seal or match cut ends with colour-matched fascia and trims for a tidy finish.
Are 3.6m boards better than shorter lengths?
For most gardens, yes. A 3.6m board spans a typical deck depth with fewer mid-run joins and less offcut waste than shorter boards, giving a cleaner finish. It also lands neatly on standard joist centres.
How long does composite decking last?
Far longer than timber, which often needs replacing within a decade or two. Our ranges are guaranteed from 15 up to 30 years, as long as they're installed correctly.
Why is 3.6m the go-to decking board length?
The 3.6m board is the most popular length in UK decking — and for good practical reasons, not just habit.
It spans a typical garden deck with fewer mid-run joins, so you get a cleaner, more seamless finish and fewer weak points to cut in. It's long enough to keep offcut waste low across a standard project, but still light enough to handle and position without a second pair of hands on every board.
3.6m also happens to be easy maths on site: 3600mm lands neatly on standard joist centres (300, 400 and 450mm), so boards sit where they should with minimal cutting. And because it matches the length UK decking has used for decades, it drops straight into projects the trade already knows inside out.

How many 3.6m decking boards do I need?
A quick rule of thumb: one 3.6m board covers around half a square metre, so you'll need roughly 2 boards per m². Add about 10% on top for cuts, waste and the small expansion gap between boards.
