Walnut Composite Decking

Walnut is the richest, most luxurious shade in our decking range; featuring a deep, dramatic chocolate-brown that makes a bold, high-end statement. All walnut boards are capped with a protective film for better resilience, and boasts a smooth textured surface, giving your garden a sophisticated, grounded feel, working beautifully against pale render, natural stone and lush green planting.

Available in Premium Walnut and Supreme Walnut, it is ideal if you're looking to create a more refined, luxurious outdoor space that feels every bit as good as it looks.

Walnut is one of three brown decking boards, alongside teak and coffee.

Complete your deck

Complete your deck

Everything you need is colour-matched to your walnut boards and ready to order alongside them:

  • Fixing clips & starter clips — hidden fixings for a clean, screw-free surface
  • Joists & sub-frame — the foundation that keeps your deck level and long-lasting
  • Fascia & edge trim — a tidy, finished perimeter in matching walnut

Add your boards to the basket and our Complete the System tool works out exactly how many clips and accessories you need. Simply enter your board count or square metreage and it does the maths for you.

Premium walnut matches premium accessories, and supreme walnut matches supreme accessories only. The basket will flag a mismatch if a Core item slips in by mistake.

FAQs

What makes walnut different from the Core & Rustic browns?

Walnut comes from our Premium & Supreme range — our higher-specification boards — rather than the Core range that teak and coffee sit in. Alongside its deep, luxurious colour, that means a step up in build and finish.

Does walnut decking fade?

Our boards are engineered to resist UV fading. You may see very slight, even lightening in the first few months as the boards settle, after which the colour stays stable.

Does walnut decking get hot in the sun?

As our darkest brown, walnut absorbs more heat than lighter shades, so a south-facing, sun-baked deck can feel warm underfoot at the height of summer. For most UK gardens it's perfectly comfortable — but for a suntrap or barefoot poolside area, a lighter brown like teak or antique may suit better.

How much maintenance does it need?

None of the usual timber upkeep — no oiling, staining or sanding. An occasional wash with warm soapy water and a soft brush across the grain lines is all it takes.
