Our Ecologi tree-planting scheme

As part of our efforts to make our business as environmentally friendly as possible, we are excited to announce the launch of our tree-planting scheme in partnership with Ecologi.

For every order we receive, we will be planting one tree. Simple as that. It's just one small step towards reforesting the planet and tackling the costs of industry on natural resources.

Who are Ecologi?

The climate crisis is something that’s affecting us all, but sometimes it feels like those in power are the only ones who can do anything about it. Individual efforts are just a drop in the ocean compared to the massive changes that are needed.

Ecologi is all about empowering individuals to make a global difference. By channeling our efforts in a focused direction, we can make a significant contribution.

They take financial investment from companies like us, and private individuals, and use it to fund coordinated projects. Their goals are to reduce carbon usage and plant more trees.

How does it work?

Every month, we make a donation to Ecologi for each order we’ve received from you, our lovely customers. That means we’re making a difference and you’re making a difference, too.

The money we donate goes into reforestation projects across the world.

Ecologi provides us with a report of how our donations are making an impact. You can check out our progress here. This is our first month, so we’ll let you know how it goes!

Update June 2022: We've already planted over 2,000 new trees! We're so excited and thankful to our customers for helping us get there.

There are loads of other ways Ecologi helps businesses to become genuinely greener.

Why are we doing it?

We love taking long walks in the countryside with the Select dogs, and we want to make sure that countryside stays green and lush and beautiful for generations to come. And we want people all over the world to be able to enjoy their natural environment in the same way.

We think it’s important for businesses to be honest about their environmental credentials. It’s no good claiming to be carbon neutral when you aren’t. And the reality is, most companies are nowhere near this goal. That’s because it’s really, really hard to reach.

We all have to start taking small steps in order to make a big impact. So whether that’s building a bee hotel in your garden or planting a new forest, every little bit is a step in the right direction.
